Our Service Packages

Every job includes professional setup, grease & safety checks, operator labor, machine operation, fuel, and mobilization. Materials, attachments, permits and disposal are quoted separately.

Typical Job Durations

Mobilization & Setup

Included in the $100 mobilization fee: arrival, safety checks, greasing, and site setup (~30–60 min).This prep time does not count against your booked on-site hours.

Utility Trenching

  • 1’ wide × 18” deep trench: ~2 minutes per foot
  • 50’ trench: 1.5–2 hours
  • 100’ trench: 3–3.5 hours

Concrete Pad/Site Prep

  • 10’×20’ pad (grade & level): 2–3 hours
  • 12’×24’ slab: 3–4 hours

Pond/Hot Tub Excavation

  • 4’×6’×2’ pond (~1,000 lb soil): 1.5–2.5 hours
  • 6’×8’×3’ hot tub: 2.5–3.5 hours

Grading & Backfill

Fine‐grading a small yard area (500–1,000 sq ft) or backfilling trenches: 2–3 hours.

Cleanup & Demobilization

Machine cleanup, site walk‐through, and departure: 30–45 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included in each service package?
Every half-day and full-day booking includes the excavator, a professional operator, routine maintenance (greasing & safety checks), fuel, and mobilization (within 30 miles).
What’s not included?
Attachments (augers, breakers, etc.), materials (gravel, concrete, pipe), disposal/haul-off, permits, locates (811), and any surcharges (after-hours, overtime, emergency calls) are quoted separately.
What happens if we finish early?
You pay for the package you reserved (half-day or full-day) regardless of actual hours used. If a 4-hour half-day wraps up in 3 hours, we clear the site and depart—but the half-day rate still applies.
Can I add attachments or materials mid-job?
Absolutely. Just let us know before we arrive so we can quote any extra time and attachment or material fees up front—no surprises on site.
How do weather or site delays affect my booking?
If weather or other issues delay start time, we’ll work the full block you booked. Should conditions prevent work entirely, we’ll reschedule at no extra charge.
What’s your cancellation policy?

We operate on tight schedules. To avoid penalties, please notify us as follows:

  • 7+ days before: No fee.
  • 3–6 days before: 10 % of your booking total.
  • Less than 3 days: 15% of your booking total.
  • Rescheduling: Requests within 7 days incur a 10 % rescheduling fee.

Overtime Policy

If a half‐day (4‐hour) booking extends beyond the scheduled time, additional hours are billed at $200 per hour.

We strive to accurately predict how long your project will take. Overtime typically only occurs due to unannounced client requests or additions beyond the original scope of work.

Do you handle permits and utility locates?
We DO NOT handle permits but we are happy to submit an 811 ticket on your behalf as part of the job.
